Wool on The Lamb

(first album)

Invitation

ANTIPHON 1
Consider the lilies of the field,
How they grow yet never toil.
Consider the lilies of the field,
How they grow yet never spin.

VERSE 1
Be not anxious for what you shall eat or drink;
Have no fear how you shall be clothed.
For your heavenly Father
Knows that you have need of all these things.
Why are you anxious? Why be anxious?

ANTIPHON 2
Consider the lilies of the field,
How they grow yet never toil.
Consider the lilies of the field,
How they grow yet never spin.

VERSE 2
Sufficient is the day with all its trials and sorrows.
But I tell you now not even Solomon,
In all of his splendor, was arrayed like any one of these.

ANTIPHON 3
Consider the lilies of the field:
How they grow yet never toil.
Consider the lilies of the field;
How they grow.

Let us joyfully sing psalms to Him.

If today you hear His voice harden not your hearts.
If today you hear His voice harden not your hearts.

VERSE 2
Come, let us bow down in worship;
Let us kneel before the Lord who made us.
For He is our God and we are the people He shepherds,
The flock He guides.

If today you hear His voice harden not your hearts.
Harden not your hearts.

Response

A beautiful rose blossoms on the mountain
And only God and His angels are there to look on.

Just as color, the perfume, and the beauty of the rose
Do not make three roses but one;
Just as I am body, mind, and spirit,
Yet I have only one nature.
So in a far more mysterious way,
There are three persons in God:
God, the Father, the Son,
And the Holy Spirit yet only one God.

The Lord has come over me as buds come on a spray.
He has sprung forth in me like roses on the hedgerows.

Bloomin’ in the red thorn of His love.
Bloomin’ in the red thorn of His love.
Bloomin’ on all my branches in the purple of His gifts.

Bloomin’ on all my branches in the purple of His gifts.

The wilderness and the solitary place
Shall be glad for this and the desert shall rejoice
And blossom like the rose.

A beautiful rose blossoms on the mountain
And only God and His angels are there to look on.

Thou art my God, deliver me from all my sin.
My soul thirsteth, my flesh longeth for Thee.

Lord, hear my voice; turn not away Thy face from me.
Out of the depths, O Lord, have I cried until Thee.

BRIDGE

Soprano: Thou art my God, all my strength, refuge and hope.
Alto: Thou art my God, all my, all my refuge and hope.

Lead me, guide me in Your ways of peace.
Restore my fainting soul, come with Thy grace and gentle love.

My spirit shall never fear.

Soprano: Thou art by me still.
Alto: Art by me, art by me still.

Let my tongue be silenced
If ever I forget You;
If ever, if ever, I forget You.

For my soul is full of troubles You know,
Incline thine ear.

CHORUS
Let my tongue be silenced

I am afflicted and ready to die;
Lover and friend hast Thou put far from me.

If ever I forget You;
If ever, if ever, I forget You.

Redemption

CHORUS
Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God.
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul.

For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul.

CHORUS
My God, my God;
My God, my God,
Tell me why have You abandoned me?

VERSE 1
Why are You so far from me
And from the words of my plea?
O my God, I cry in the daytime,
But You seem not to hear me
Though I am not silent.
All who see me laugh at me:
They shake their heads and stare at me.

CHORUS
My God, my God;
My God, my God,
Tell me why have You abandoned me?

VERSE 2
Let my soul never fear
Although trouble is so near.
O my God, my heart is like wax;
It is melting within me,
My strength has dried up.
They part my garments among them;
They cast lots upon my robe.

CHORUS
My God, my God;
My God, my God,
Tell me why have You abandoned me?

Fulfillment

CHORUS
If anyone loves Me he will hold to My words,
And My Father will love him,
And we will come to him,
And make a dwelling place,
A home in him.

VERSE 1
He who does not love Me, keeps not My words;
The word which you hear comes not from Me.
It comes from the Father who sent Me to you.
I am the Lord, God Almighty.
I shall always be with you.

VERSE 2
This much I have told you while I was still with you;
The Paraclete, the Holy Spirit whom the Father sends.
I will instruct and remind you of all I've share with you.
I am the Lord, God Almighty.
I shall always be with you.

CHORUS
If anyone loves Me he will hold to My words,
And My Father will love him,
And we will come to him,
And make a dwelling place,
A home in him.

VERSE 3
Peace is My farewell, peace is My gift.
I do not give it to you as the world will try to do.
Be not distressed or fearful for you have heard Me say:
I am the Lord, God Almighty, I shall always be with you.

VERSE 4
I go away for a while, but I will come back to you.
If you truly love Me, you will rejoice to have Me go to the Father for He is greater than I.
I am the Lord, God Almighty.
I shall always be with you.

VERSE 5
I must tell you something now: soon it will take place.
The prince of this world is at hand but he has no hold on Me.
The world must know how to love as I have loved you.
Come then! Let us be on our way.
I shall always be with you.
I shall always be with you.

What is the Kingdom of God like?
And to what shall I compare it?
It is like a grain of mustard seed
Which a man took and cast into his garden;
And it grew.

It became a great tree.
And the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
What is the Kingdom of God like?
And to what shall I compare it?
It is like leaven which a woman took
And had in three measures of meal,
Till the whole was leavened.

On Your Behalf

(second album)

Reparation

CHORUS
Therefore, being justified, justified by faith,
We have peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
By whom we have access, access by faith,
Into this grace in which we stand,
And rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

VERSE 1
By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified;
Not by works of righteousness which we have done.
But according to His mercy He saved us,
And we become heirs in hope of eternal life.

CHORUS
Therefore, being justified, justified by faith,
We have peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
By whom we have access, access by faith,
Into this grace in which we stand,
And rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

VERSE 2
There is not one among us who is justified;
So just to do good but never sins.
For all have sinned and come short
Of the great glory of God.

CHORUS
Therefore, being justified, justified by faith,
We have peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
By whom we have access, access by faith,
Into this grace in which we stand,
And rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

VERSE 3
Jesus who knew no sin made us justified;
God made to be sin on our behalf.
For Christ has suffered that we might become
The righteousness of God in Him.

INTERLUDE

VERSE 4
Great is the mystery of godliness;
God was manifest in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen of angels, preached unto the nations,
Believed on in the world,
And received up into glory.

CHORUS
Therefore, being justified, justified by faith,
We have peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
By whom we have access, access by faith,
Into this grace in which we stand,
And rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

CHORUS
On your behalf, on your behalf,
Christ was obedient, perfectly obedient.

VERSE 1
It was through one man's disobedience
That we all became sinners.
Yet through one man's obedience
Many shall be saved.

CHORUS
On your behalf, on your behalf,
Christ was obedient, perfectly obedient.

VERSE 2
God made Himself of no reputation;
He took upon the form of a servant,
And was made in the likeness of us all.

BRIDGE

CHORUS
On your behalf, on your behalf,
Christ was obedient, perfectly obedient.

VERSE 3
He humbled Himself as a man,
Became obedient unto death,
Yes, even the death on the Cross.

FINAL CHORUS
On your behalf, on your behalf,
Christ was obedient, perfectly obedient.
On your behalf, on your behalf,
Christ was obedient, perfectly obedient ... on your behalf.

VERSE 1
Only a whisper and very low -
A call from the Lover divine,
A call to model your life anew,
"leave all and come be mine."

REFRAIN
Flee from me mediocrity,
Flee from me complacency,
For I want to live totally for God,
to leave all and come be His.

VERSE 2
Only a whisper and given to few,
To the noble of heart and fine.
With a heart of charity, noble and pure,
To labor for soul's salvation.

REFRAIN
Flee from me mediocrity,
Flee from me complacency,
For I want to live totally for God,
to leave all and come be His.

VERSE 3
Only a whisper through firm and sure,
To follow, serve and endure,
To render me love in all you do,
As a sister of reparation.

VERSE 4
'Tis but a whisper but meant for you,
From the King to his beloved,
To live in The Company true and select,
Ennobled to the Kingdom Castle.

For the freedom to ring: “Let true peace now reign,”
“True peace now reign,”
“True peace now reign.”

VERSE 4
The square now became a court for the Lord,
We’ll not use weapons they do not possess.

Convert all souls,
Convert all souls.

They have arms, we have the Truth.
They have arms, we have the Truth.

VERSE 1
In that day were our strong cities
Like a forsaken land.
Because we had forgotten the God of our salvation,
And the Cross He endured.

CHORUS
I have waited, waited, waited for the Lord,
And He stooped towards me and heard my cry.
And He put a new song into my mouth,
Even praise unto our God.

All about and beyond were ruins
I was covered with the shadow of death.
Then there rose up a cry for God’s help,
For the weak and oppressed.

And He stooped towards me and heard my cry.
And He put a new song into my mouth,
Even praise unto our God.

BRIDGE
The Lord is close to the broken;
Those crushed in spirit He saves.
Holocaust or sin-offerings He sought not.
From distress, He rescues them.

CHORUS
I have waited, waited, waited for the Lord,
And He stooped towards me and heard my cry.
And He put a new song into my mouth,
Even praise unto our God.

VERSE 3
He drew me out of the pit of destruction,
Out of the slough of the marsh.
Then He set my feet upon a rock;
He made firm my steps.

I have waited, waited, waited for the Lord,
And He stooped towards me and heard my cry.
And He put a new song into my mouth,

Let them be consoled in their grief by the Lord,

And take you to the Holy City.
